Brothership – The Adventures of a Legendary Pirate

Take from the rich to help the poor: BROTHERSHIP is a “Robin Hood of the Seas” pirate series. At the end of the 14th century, the name of one pirate haunts the streets of the cities in the Hanseatic League: Klaas Störtebeker.

Imagine if he wasn’t the fearless grown man, but a 14-year-old boy with a great sense of justice, a boy who not only convinced coarse pirates to fight for the good, but also bamboozled rapacious merchants of the Hanseatic League – even defying Queen Margaret 1st of Denmark.

Film funding for “The Ogglies”

WunderWerk project convinces the funding committees
Great news for “The Ogglies”: Following the positive funding decisions of the Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein and the Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg, the German Federal Film Board (FFA) has also approved subsidies for the project. We are very happy about the positive decisions!

Gruesome gunge and cheesy feet – Die Ogglies are it!
The Ogglies are finally conquering our cinema screens! The books about the green, rubbish-eating creatures have so far sold more than 5 million copies in Germany alone. There are 34 early reading and picture books, the paperback series about the Oggly detectives, the Oggly comic magazine, as well as the Oggly app.

In the oggliest adventure of all time, the Oggly family arrive at the municipal rubbish dump of Smelliville. The Ogglies are looking for a new home, but they never feel really welcome anywhere. They stink and are for most humans just a tad too oggly. When Firestool the family dragon crash-lands on the run-down rubbish tip of the small town of Schmuddelfing, the Oggly kids at once feel at home. And it’s here they want to stay.

Tilda Appleseed

“Tilda Appleseed” travels to Asia

“Tilda Apfelkern” is nominated for the category “TV & Commissioned Film” at the Bucheon International Animation Festival. The festival will take place in Bucheon City, South Korea from October 20 – 24, 2017. We are very excited about Tilda Apfelkern’s festival participation in Asia.

Tilda Appleseed, the small mouse who is as white as the flowers of the elder bush, lives in a little house at the foot of the church wall. Whenever someone is in need of help, she is there – with advice, a nice cup of tea and delicious cookies. Every day is lovely in the little village, smugly tucked into the hills, where small and big adventures await its inhabitants.

All that counts is: Tilda and her friends are inseparable.

With the wonderful, atmospheric and funny stories of our lovingly animated TV series children as well as adults will take all the adorable characters to their heart.

During the Christmas season in 1997, KiKA, the children’s channel of ARD and ZDF surprised their viewers with “Beutolomäus”, the gift bag of santa claus, which shortened the time until christmas with funny, interesting and crazy stories. Since then, a pre-Christmas period without him is almost inconceivable.

Just in time for his 20th birthday, Beutolomäus will be back on TV with a new season in a new look!

Christmas is in jeopardy! Only Bartholomew, the jolly sack of presents who is also Father Christmas’ best friend, can save everybody’s favourite festival – together with 8-year old Paule (F) and her friend Max.

The Kids from Seagull Street, Season 2

Broadcasting of the second season from August 2017 on KiKA

From August 19, 2017, the new “The Kids from the Seagulls” episodes will be running on KiKA, daily at 6:00pm. From September 16, 2017, the first season will be repeated, also daily at 6:00p.m.

There’s no nicer place to live than on Seagull Street.

“The Kids from Seagull Street” is the alternative of an action-packed fantasy series: Comfy, easy-going and taken from real life, the series tells child-oriented stories from everyday life, wherein the children recognize themselves.

The Ogglies

Gruesome gunge and cheesy feet – The Ogglies are the latest thing!

Yet there are still some people who have never heard of the Ogglies. Not many, but still: for all those still in the dark we’d like to present this charming, cheeky and chaotic family:

The Ogglies are as green as gherkins, with noses the size of aubergines and three hearing horns on their heads as big as bananas. The Ogglies don’t like chocolate. Or ice-cream, or sweets, or jelly, or spaghetti with tomato ketchup, or Nutella sandwiches. In fact, they don’t like anything that children like, but prefer to dine on things that are off, bitter, musty or mouldy.

The Oggly family have made their home on the municipal rubbish dump in Smelliville: two kids, Mum, Dad, Grandpa, Grandma and the baby, along with Flutchi the bat and Firebottom the dragon, who also serves as the family’s means of transport.

Millie

Millie is a cow. A mail cow, to be exact. But Millie is not only a mail cow. She’s also a cow who goes on a treasure hunt, plays hide-and-seek, pops out from hiding places and scares the daylights out of the mailman – in short a cow like no other. And she is most certainly not a “dumb cow”, even though she often has as rather roundabout way of doing things. Millie is horribly clumsy. Of course! A cow without hands, with only four hooves, who climbs trees, jumps on a trampoline… how could it not go wrong? Added to that is Millie’s childish naivety. Although she thinks a lot – yes, she thinks; we’ll get into more detail later – she doesn’t think about the possible consequences of her actions. As soon as Millie has an idea, she dives into a new adventure without thinking about the risks and often ends up in a bind. She’s sitting in a tree and can’t get back down, is stuck in a hole she dug herself… Millie behaves like a little child – like our target group – which offers enormous potential for the audience to identify with.

Too many people who know about it.
How far would you go to get your hands on the money?
A race against time, a matter of life and death…

Imagine that you’re almost 15 years old, your mother is dead, your alcoholic father has been missing without a trace for days, and you live with your not-much-older brother in one of the most run-down neighborhoods in the city.

It’s bloody cold, two days before Christmas and your bank account is nearly empty. You’re jogging through the woods as it gets darker and darker. Then there’s a bang. A speeding car suddenly appears out of nowhere, shoots over an embankment and crashes into a tree not far from you.

While looking for a first aid kit for the seriously wounded driver, you discover a girl, bound and injured, in the car’s trunk. Instead of showing any concern for her injuries, the girl instead asks for your address. She takes a picture of you with her mobile phone, and all the while you can hear the police sirens steadily drawing near. To top it all off, the girl urges you to run away with a huge bag full of money. You grab the bag and take off. She calls after you that she will find you.

The bag is filled with 4 million euros from a cash-in-transport. And the girl is not the only one who wants the bag back. From this moment on your life is a breathtaking race against time and a dangerous cat-and-mouse game with relentless pursuers. Who will end up with the Jackpot?

Groove High

3 complete broadcasts on Nickelodeon already.

“Groove High” is all about the two young rockstars Zoe and Tom. They live their dream together and have the chance to travel from town to town on their world tour. However, before Zoe and Tom could celebrate their musical success, they went to “Groove High”, a school for music and performing arts, together. While Zoe and Tom are waiting backstage until it’s show time, they reminisce about the good old times.

Besides music, friendship and first love are at the very top of the list in Groove High. But also brawl and drama play a role, because when they remember their school time and the beginning of their career, they do not always totally agree how the things really took their course.

“Groove High” cleverly combines the genres live-action and animation. Each episode initially starts with a short live-action element. In the version produced for Nickelodeon Germany, Luisa Wietzorek plays the Zoe and Robert Köhler the Tom. The reviews into their time at “Groove High” are animated.

In the live-action scenes of the Dutch and the Swedish version, also produced for Nickelodeon by WunderWerk, Alex Hendrickx and Emilie Pos respectively Tom Ljungmann and Happy Jankell play the leading parts.

Princess Lillifee and the Little Unicorn

In Pinkovia, Princess Lillifee and her friends are enjoying a beautiful summer. One night, however, the unicorn Rosalie appears to Lillifee in a dream and urgently asks for her help; she needs Lillifee to look after her baby Lucy. When Lillifee awakes, she discovers that Lucy has magically stepped out of her dream and is now sitting on her bed, fresh as a daisy. But what has happened to Rosalie?

Lillifee decides to bring Lucy back to her mother. In order to find Rosalie, she sets off with the unicorn baby and her friends to the neighboring country Bluetopia. Upon their arrival, they are shocked to discover that the land has been cast under a dreadful spell! Although it’s the middle of summer, it is frosty and cold, and everything is covered with ice and snow.

Lillifee quickly finds out who is responsible for the disaster: Steel, the winter prince of Bluetopia. Jealous of his twin brother, the summer prince, he has frozen the country in a deep winter sleep. The enchanted ice can only be melted by the unicorns’ magical powers. Steel, of course, wants to prevent this at all costs. So he has kidnapped Lucy’s parents and imprisoned them in impenetrable ice.

Lucy is now Bluetopia’s only hope. Steel has the baby unicorn searched for all over the country, and finds her with Lillifee. The fairy princess manages to flee at the last moment, but now she must act quickly. Lillifee can only free Bluetopia from the evil curse with Lucy’s help…

Princess Lillifee

In the enchanted kingdom of Pinkovia, the fairy Princess Lillifee rules with a magic hand, creating beauty and good will wherever she travels. Together with her pet pig Pupsi, she zooms throughout the countryside leaving behind a magical trail – clouds of pink butterflies and sparkling stars.

Still, she soon discovers that not all in her kingdom are content. With the passing ages, the Fairies of Pinkle have become worse in the misuse of their magical powers. It is the Farmer Pixies, the Fisher Elves and the Mermaids of the surrounding countryside that suffer so much from the Fairies’ mischief that they are actually considering leaving the enchanted realm forever. Being a caring Princess, this makes Lillifee very sad.

But together with all of her friends, Princess Lillifee is determined to restore the gentle harmony of her wonderful kingdom and fill it again with the joy of its glittery splendor.
